Dear Mr. Morgan:

\JI am enclosing a check for $500 dollars as a retainer in
the "Allen dissolution". I will be getting my financial records
this weekend and will get copies to you early next week.
Hopefully this business can get straightened out with a 
minimum of agony for all concerned.

I relented and sold the house. It seemed that in the long run I'd
lose anyway. I will try to settle the other family affairs between
Mrs. Allen and myself, but in the eventuality that legal entanglements
occur, I will be most anxious to avail myself of your services.

At present the difficulties I forsee are two: The lack of communication
between Mrs. Allen and myself. 
This will make a settlement procede slowly. If we can't work things
out ourselves, then the second difficulty will most certainly arise:
her lawyer.
If I have to deal with him I'll  most certainly pass to you.
